Flex Bar – the sneaky bar that packs a powerful punch! I love the reaction from my class when I ask them to get a Flex Bar for the first time. “Oh I like this bar!” they say….then we start to use it “Do you like it now?” I ask as they grimace and sweat!
Despite the challenge and inevitable pain….my classes keep asking for more Flex Bar! The Flex bar builds strength from within…the class gets a great strength workout without the imposing and intimidating heavy weights and bars.
Most of our participants will not get weights that equal 20 pounds of resistance however that is what they get with the Flex Bar! They are challenged by surprise! I have been working with the Flex Bar in my class at least 3 times a week for a couple months and have noticed a significant gain in strength during my own weight lifting workouts (when I can get them in!) The Flex Bar is a fabulous tool for incorporating into a yoga or Pilates based routine! Great tool!!! |
